The GUR SIG LinkedIn group serves as a meeting place for Games User Research proessionals and academics. Members must be working or studying in an area relevant to Games User Research. To join the group please go here and submit your request.
This wiki was originally setup by Magy Seif El-Nasr and some graduate students. It aims to give insight into the differing methodologies that can be used in Games User Research.
There are many, many, publications online related to Games User Research. Many more than we could host and curate ourselves. As such, thanks to Ben Lile, we have setup a Mendeley library that you can use to access, and add to, these publications. Instructions on how to access and use the library can be found here.
The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) is the largest non-profit membership organisation in the world serving all individuals who work in the games industry. The GUR SIG is part of the IGDA and you can check out the IGDA website here.
